Oh dear!! I watched with dismay a TV programme last night, what on earth were they thinking. The ridiculous broody coop that would not work, the unusable hen houses that were broken first day! I couldn't watch any more but apparently according to my husband, there was a wigwam!! The prices were about £700/800. The problem is the poor unsuspecting first time inexperienced keeper would not know why these were not good, but worst than that the poor hens welfare is at stake, I visit many forums and the problems with respiratory difficulties that the hens are experiencing is concerning.
The other day someone was recommending a B&Q tool box as a hen house!!!
